(InMaOn/Goethe-Institut Jakarta) Das Goethe Institut Jakarta sucht ab Januar 2017 einen Projektmanager für das internationale Pilotprojekt »Cultural Entrepreneurship Hub«.
Mit diesem internationalen Pilotprojekt wird der kulturelle Austausch um die Dimension der Kreativwirtschaft erweitert. Der Transfer von Wissen und Ideen wird zukünftig im Rahmen von »Cultural Entrepreneurship HUBs« stattfinden, die Kreativunternehmer aus Indonesien (Jakarta), Südafrika (Johannesburg), Griechenland (Thessaloniki) und Deutschland (München) verbinden.
MANAGER OF A CULTURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP HUB AT THE GOETHE-INSTITUT INDONESIEN
The Goethe-Institut is the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide. We promote the study of German abroad and encourage international cultural exchange. In addition, we convey a comprehensive picture of Germany by providing information on Germany’s cultural, social and political life.
In 2017-18 the Goethe-Institut will run the international pilot project “Cultural Entrepreneurship HUB” in cooperation with the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (Munich). In this context Cultural Entrepreneurship Hubs in Jakarta, Johannesburg, Munich and Thessaloniki will be established to train start-up consultants for the cultural and creative industries. The Goethe-Institut Indonesia is seeking to recruit a Manager of a Cultural Entrepreneurship Hub in Jakarta with immediate effect – for two years (40 hours a week) with the option of extension. A focus of the hub should be on “start-up projects” in the field of festivals.
The duties of the Hub Manager will include the following tasks:
- Establishment of a local hub offering consulting and training to business founders in the creative sector, especially in the field of festivals - Training of disseminators in the field of cultural entrepreneurship - Networking with the creative industries scene in Germany - Taking part in a creative sector meeting in Munich, Germany in 2017 and a final presentation in 2018 - Monitoring, evaluation and analysis of start-up projects and teams, in particular from the cultural industries - Consultancy for festival related start-ups and people interested in those with regard to all start-up-relevant topics: business model, market analysis, business plan, execution, scalability, public image, teambuilding, etc. - Support in the establishment of financially sound or independent start-up projects - Knowledge transfer from and within the cultural industries in Indonesia, as well as to the other participating partner countries and to Germany for start-ups - Identification of innovative ideas in cultural industries with spin-off potential
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who meets the following requirements:
- Initial experience in start-ups or consultancy in the creative and cultural industries - Good network experience in and sound knowledge of the Indonesian cultural industries and festival Scene - Excellent communication skills and pronounced analytical and communicative abilities - Independent worker and organizational talent, possessing self-initiative, dedication, flexibility and high capacity for Teamwork - Confident demeanour and service awareness - High proficiency in using modern information and communication technologies - Experience with international cooperation between cultural industries is an advantage, as well as interest in and readiness to expand international partnerships in the cultural industries, especially with Germany - Willing to travel - Fluent in English - Knowledge of business Management
