- Workshop: »Food Pleasures – Food Aversions«

Das Institut für Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie (KSA) an der Universität Wien lädt zu einem Workshop mit dem Titel »Food Pleasures - Food Aversions« ein. Der Workshop stellt die in Indonesien und Österreich durchgeführte Projektarbeit vor.
Die Veranstaltung wird in einem hybriden Format stattfinden. Eine Onlineteilnahme für Interessierte, die nicht selbst anwesend sein können, ist daher möglich.

The Workshop will bring together scholars from different institutions who have been researching on current trends in conceptions and practices of food and consumption connected to changes and challenges in our environments, economic and social positions as well as in our individual choices and values. Geographically, the research, which is still work-in-progress, has been located in Indonesia and Austria. The main purpose of this Workshop is to connect people with similar interests, to show the broad range of topics and research opportunities within this specific framework and to broaden our understanding of particular phenomena by exchanging knowledge and ideas and engaging in discussions with colleagues and students.
